Sharon is the sole practitioner and has undergone a three year degree course and Licenciate in Acupuncture. This means that she is fully qualified and is a full member of the British Acupuncture Council. As such she still completes continuing professional development to keep up to date with aquired skills and strives to give her patients high standards of care.
Sharon's flexibility means that you are not tied to rigid hours of availalblity, she appreciates the need to work some evenings and weekends to fit in with the busy work schedules that her patients are faced with. Therefore clinic opening times are not set in stone. However, visits are by appointment only. Patients may bring in their friend or relative if they so wish to join the consultation but there is no waiting facility outside of the clinic. For those under sixteen a parent or guardian must attend.
Sharon offers body acupuncture, auricular (ear), acupressure, cupping, cosmetic facial acupuncture, gua sha massage, moxibustion and Korean hand therapy.
Treatments are undertaken for a variety of symptoms and Sharon is happy to discuss these with you to see if acupuncture can help. Some patients use it for general wellbeing. Sharon specialises in anxiety and stress management, pain control, care in pregnancy and fertility issues.
If you are not local Sharon has other clinics in Leicester, Rugby, Leamington and Higham Ferrers that may be more accessible. Or if you are housebound a home visit may be possible on request.
