Arina began her studies of traditional Chinese medicine with the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland. At the same time she completed a Diploma in Chinese herbal Medicine and a Certificate in Tuina-Chinese medical massage. Having qualified as an Acupuncturist & Herbalist, she travelled to Nanjing in China where she did her post-graduate training in the International Acupuncture Training Hospital. Currently, she continues her studies with a Master degree in New Zealand’s School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine.   Arina is passionate about helping others with different conditions treated by acupuncture from musculoskeletal disorders to insomnia, anxiety or stress. Through the experience of studying, living in another countries and enthusiasm to foreign languages, her consultations are available in English, French, Polish and Russian. She is a member of AFPA (Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association) the oldest organisation responsible for the regulation of a Register of Acupuncturists established in 1987 and ETCMA (European Traditional Chinese Medicine Association). Qualified both in Western Medicine and Acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), Dr Zhang has over 30 years’ experience in medicine, with a major interest in Fertility/IVF, ante-natal and post-natal care, period, menopause, and other women’s health problems. Dr Zhang obtained her first degree in medicine (both Western Medicine and Acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in 1985 in China. She was awarded the degree of MD in Human Reproductive Medicine in 1991. She then commenced PhD studies and was awarded her Ph.D. degree in Gynaecological Oncology in 1996 at Beijing Medical University. Dr Zhang has a longstanding interest in an integrated approach to women’s wellbeing and successfully integratedAcupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapy into her clinical practice while she was working in China. The dual approach (drawing the best from both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine) gives her a unique insight into both schools of thought and choices of treatment.
