They saw me twice during my recovery and would answer any question I had. I’ve never had surgery before so I was anxious but they laid my mind to ease. Everything was done flawless. I’m happy to say that it was worth waiting 2 years for this procedure. Can’t be happier! 2 Years later...and I'M AMAZING! I lost of grand total of 130 lbs. If you are thinking about a gastric sleeve, my advice to you is stop thinking about it and go and see Dr Süleyman. He and Arina are first class from first contact. Please do not have a second thought about going out the country, in my opinion it’s better than the NHS. The staff aren’t anywhere near as stretched and the care is better. The nurses are none stop fussing around you, infact to the point where it might even feel a bit no much to some people. The aftercare is there for ever, they have even asked me to return and seen him when my weight has started to move, you are given a full diet, they even buy your meal to take home, medication to take home until you don’t need to take it any more. I have text Dr Süleyman a few questions and he returns my messages instantly. I was very apprehensive before I went, but now I’ve been I’ll shout from the highest building how good it’s been. 🛑STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND JUST DO IT. 🛑

After the operation, the patients lose about 65-70% of their excess weight in about 12 months.One of the greatest advantages of operation of the tube gastric (sleeve gastrectomy) is that there is no problem in the intake of vitamins and minerals since there is no operation that affects the absorption.
