Revisional Bariatric Surgery Turkey

I had sleeve gastrectomy surgery and my family members had eclipse balloons. It was a wonderful experience for us with the whole medical team led by Professor Ali, Nurse Sude, translator Mohammed, Ali Musthapa and nurses at Ward 3. They've been very meticulous and professional in attending to our medical needs. I would recommend their services to anyone who needs such professional medical attention and hygiene at very affordable prices. 😀

Two months ago I did the gastric sleeve surgery and I can promise you guys they are the best. I already lost 24 kg in two months the results are amazing also after the surgery. The whole team was very kind and professional and they were on you’re service for 24 hours….simply the best.

I had my surgery with Aktif at vital hospital with Dr Ibrahim Agackiran on the 4th of July 2023. Dr Ibrahim is great, seems to know what he’s doing and is very professional. The surgery went well, and I’m currently down 7 kg in 1 week!! Here are some pros and cons of the surgery and some things to think about if you want to have the surgery. Pros: +The surgeons/doctors at the facility are very professional and good at their job. +The guide/translator Luca was great, super nice and helpful. +I feel great after the surgery but it's a huge adjustment. +They’ve been very helpful at answering all my questions now afterwards and they are quick to reply to you. Cons: - Most of the nurses at the facility don’t speak English so it’s hard to communicate with them but they are very friendly and try their best to help you. -I wasn't given proper info/instructions about my medications (especially the blood thinner syringes I had to give myself). I had to kinda figure it out on my own. I wish they would have shown me how to do it while I was at the hospital. -I wasn’t told how to properly care for the wounds/incisions after the surgery so two of them are infected now. I tried to care for them to the best of my ability and they will hopefully clear out in a couple of days with the antibiotics. -Doctors in Sweden don’t want to help me as much now because I’ve had surgery abroad.

12.5/10 - Fantastic Experience, Great Coordinator, Nurses and Hospitality staff! Asuman is the greatest coordinator! I went to turkey to have gastric sleeve surgery (weight loss option). My coordinator was the nicest, respectable, reliable, politest, generous, helpful, kind, pro-active, efficient person I've ever met! (besides the women in my family) overall great/perfect coordinator. She was extremely helpful throughout the whole process from start to end in which I am extremely grateful for. I stayed in the Radisson Blue hotel which was amazing, clean, lovely views, good lighting with 5 stars customer service. I stayed in turkey for 8 nights and checked into Medical Park Hospital on the 2nd day in which all my medicals such as blood tests, scans etc was taken. The next day was surgery day, I was greeted in the morning by the surgeon who was very polite, kind and professional, he talked me through everything. After the surgery going very well, I was left in care with the nurses who were very very attentive, kind, warming and hard working. Even though I was in a lot of pain and frustrated after the surgery, the nurses understood and were very helpful and were very kind and very respectful. My hospital room was spacious clean, stylish and comfortable. After spending a couple of days recovering in the hospital I returned back to the hotel where I was greeted by Rana and other nurses who were all extremely lovely, helpful and all had great/positive energy. Overall I would rate this Gastric Sleeve experience 12.5/10. Thank you.

I can’t recommend this place enough! From the moment I stepped off the plane I was looked after and made to feel so welcome and safe. The surgeons were absolutely amazing, the nurses were attentive and so caring, I don’t have a bad word to say. If your like me and looking for a safe place outside the u.k to have surgery and change your life this the place to go. I will definitely be going back if I need any body contouring after I lose all this weight!

The Medifema clinic is the only clinic that responded. I went on 20 August to look at the possibilities and on 22 August they did the breast implant, a facial correction and on the 29th the are looking at my varicose veins. So, one clinic is taking care of all my requests.

The service from start to finish was faultless. From the information provided via text, being picked up from in a luxury vehicle, to the hospital staff nothing was too much trouble. This was all down to Fatih Ozturk the coordinator. He was always available to answer any questions from start to finish. I had a Gastric Sleeve, the only pain I suffered was the trapped wind, was given pain relief which helped. The surgeon Dr Bora Koc came to see me twice a day during my stay. I have been given medication to take home with me and contact numbers for advice/support if needed. It was Fatih Ozturk who made this journey happen for me would not hesitate to use him again.

I chose to have my Gastric Sleeve surgery with NewMe Clinic following recommendations. I know someone who has had surgery here already and has had great success. I also chose this clinic due to the experience and reputation of Prof Nurullah Bulbuller. From the moment I made contact I was impressed with the responsiveness to my questions, I had loads! We was greeted at the airport and transferred to the hospital in comfortable transportation. All staff treated me and my husband with the utmost respect. I had to have some tests done on arrival, which continued the morning of surgery day, to make sure I was fit for surgery. The surgery went well, although the pain when being woken was unbelievable! Once back in my room, I was given intravenous pain relief, which relieved the pain enough for me to settle. The pain eased greatly 3 days after surgery. I was encouraged to walk soon after surgery, which is important to relieve pain from gas. My husband was provided with all his meals during my stay and a comfortable bed in my room. We didn’t want for anything. I have been sent home with vitamins, stomach protector and blood thinning injections, with a support network on the phone if needed. I want to thank all the staff at the Anadolu hospital for the excellent care and service they provided me whilst I was there having surgery. The level of compassion and care was above and beyond. I want to say a huge thank you to Sevim, who is the clinics coordinator she went above and beyond in every way for me. She made sure me and my companions needs were met. She was very attentive, professional and caring. She answered all my messages and questions promptly. Nothing was ever too much for her. Honestly she was amazing. Dr Cenk hands down is a phenomenal surgeon, his level of professionalism and overall communication was fantastic. I had no pain after my surgery. I honestly feel he has been blessed with healing hands. Highly recommend the bariatric team at this hospital. Thank you so much.

I would highly recommend booking surgery I received fantastic communication before I even landed in Istanbul with my amazing coordinator Nina. Even when I arrived home she was there on the other end of the phone answering the questions I had all whilst heavily pregnant she really went above and beyond for me. I had 2 procedures I had a FDL Extended Tummy tuck & breast uplift & implants following a 7 stone 5 weight loss my surgeon was Dr Emin he was incredible he knew exactly the look I wanted and he done an incredible job. I am very impressed with my neat stitching and my results are fantastic. He came and saw me every morning after the operation to check I was okay and if I had any questions he really was amazing. I am hopefully heading back next year for a thigh lift, the hospital and nurses were amazing they took care of me every step off the way with pre-op testing & the aftercare was brilliant. I heeled beautiful, I choose this clinic on recommendations through a lot of my weigh loss surgery friends and I am so glad I found booking surgery you won’t be disappointed.

I had a great experience at Grandmedical. The staff is super nice and happy, Mel was my interpreter and he represented me well at the clinic. The service offered was excellent, I had VGS and the procedure went so well with Dr Osman. Affordable medical service, warm reception and good hospitality. I recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a safe medical practice abroad, I can say this as an RGN myself.

I delivered my baby three months ago and after delivery, I had so many complications.
