Hi, my name is Kristina and I wish you a warm welcome to my profile! I am an accredited counsellor and hypnotherapist, working both in person and online in Cork city centre.  I specialize in working with general anxiety, social anxiety, separation anxiety, health anxiety, OCD, panic attacks, fears and phobias, low self-esteem, trauma, sleep issues, and stress management. We all feel anxious at times, but sometimes it can become overwhelming. The anxiety can leave us feeling alone and trapped with no way out. Perhaps you feel like not good enough, no matter how much you succeed and you struggle to put yourself first. It might be that you worry a lot about what other people think of you. You are fed up with panic attacks that happen out of nowhere and sick of  feelling on the edge all the time. Hi. I'm an IACP-accredited counsellor & psychotherapist offering in-person sessions in Cork City and online sessions via Zoom or Phone. I work with adults (individuals and couples) looking for support in areas such as bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression, stress and illness, abuse, self-harm, relationships, maternal mental health (depression during/post-pregnancy, miscarriage, pregnancy loss) and any other life changes that can emerge and create uncertainty in life.  I believe that everyone should be able to benefit from confidential and non-judgemental support when life feels difficult. I work in a client-centred, humanistic and integrative way: I value my clients' own experience of life and together we explore more fulfilling and resourceful ways of being in the world. I draw on different techniques in my work, but essentially my role is to support and help empower the people I work with. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, along with a Professional Certificate in CBT and I am committed to ongoing professional learning and development.
