I am counselling psychologist offering an empathic, professional and confidential therapeutic service to assist with these and many other emotional conditions. I believe it is essential to develop a good relationship where you, as the client, can feel the therapist is really listening to your experience. I combine traditional counselling approaches with recognised therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) to help you move through difficult life experiences to a more fulfilled future.I work with clients for short or longer term according to their needs. I finally undertook an MSc and higher training in counselling psychology to specialise as a British Psychological Society Counselling Psychologist. In addition I am HCPC registered, a chartered scientist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. I have experience in a range of settings including the NHS, the charity sector, private education and healthcare.
