An update on my previous review is that I stayed longer in Thessaloniki to complete the root canal treatments and crowns. Totally painless in the expert hands of Dr Besas. He takes time to explain procedures and is so calming and reassuring throughout the dental treatment. I also have a complex implant to be done in a couple of months and as Dr Besas is a specialist dental surgeon in this field, I absolutely have no concerns whatsoever in this regard and I'll definitely be travelling back to Thessaloniki for this. Also, you will be very pleasantly surprised by costing compared to UK! Special mention is the dental nurse is also fantastic, calming, and professional. Highly recommend!

I was within 3 weeks of going on holiday to Torremolinos, Spain, when I lost part of a large filling and within a few days, a double crown also fell out. I tried a number of local dentists in the UK but the earliest appointment I could get from the only dentist prepared to see me was for late November, a wait of almost 10 weeks. I then contacted Dr. Sagge at the Scandinavian Dental Clinic by email and he replied very quickly giving me an appointment for the day after my arrival in Spain. I can only describe the treatment I received as being of the highest calibre. Dr Sagge is a really nice guy who puts you at ease immediately, does a first-class job and you just know you're not going to have further problems because he's so painstaking and thorough. The people who work here are very friendly as soon as you walk In they make you feel relaxed. Very professional and answer your questions. Even when I got my teeth sorted and just walked out forgetting to make an appointment for after care, they phoned me nothing is to much trouble. Thank you all.

As a person who has a HUGE fear of the dentist, Friel couldn't have treated me better. I had to have an emergency molar extraction and she was so lovely and understanding of my fear. She talked me through everything. After a few days I had dry socket, and I called the surgery. Friel called me back and prescribed me antibiotics. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Friel as a dentist 100%. It was more of an expensive appointment as it was a bank holiday Monday and an emergency appointment, but worth every cent.
