I am highly trained humanistic and integrative
psychotherapist and a member of British Association for Counselling and
Psychotherapy. I have completed Masters in Psychotherapy and a Higher Diploma
in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I decided to train as a psychotherapist after I
worked and volunteered for one of the Serious
Fun camps located in Ireland which caters for families and children
affected by cancer. I still act as an ambassador to the wonderful organisation.
Since, that I have completed a research into
Psycho-Oncology which I have presented at Irish Association for Humanistic and
Integrative Psychotherapy conference in 2016, which was also published in their
booklet. I was chosen to present at American based International
Psycho-oncology Symposium and I had a pleasure to share my research at British
Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy conference in Chester, 2017.
My research was based on the psychotherapeutic
exploration of the psycho-dynamics that occur when health professionals are
faced with human vulnerability, dying and compromised communication within
multidisciplinary teams.
Currently, I offer psychotherapy from my private
practice located in Manchester city centre.
I have extensive experience of working with various mental health issues.
I
work with adults concerning the following: depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement
and loss, work related issues, post traumatic stress disorder or any type of trauma,
relationship issues, sexual identity issues, anger management problems, OCD, low
self esteem, lack of self-care, living with serious illness and family issues.
