I am a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist
(CBT), accredited with the BABCP (British Association of Behavioural and
Cognitive Psychotherapists) and also am a qualified Person-Centred
Counsellor/Psychotherapist, and have accreditation with the BACP (British
Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I therefore work to the
ethical guidelines and principles laid down by these organisations.
I have extensive experience working with clients in CBT and
Counselling, both in the NHS and private sector and my qualifications and
experience enable me to tailor my approach according to client need and
requirements. I have more than ten years experience in the NHS,
undertaking CBT, and Counselling with clients with a diverse range of
difficulties and problems.
CBT or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a form of talking therapy that has
been proven to help with a wide range of emotional and physical health difficulties.
It is an evidence-based therapy and is
recommended by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE)
for treatment of many mental health issues, such as Depression, Anxiety and
