I was introduced to therapy by a friend, as I was not coping very well.
Before the therapy, I was dealing with heartbreak by myself for a year or so, it got really bad as I couldn't tell anyone that I was in a same-sex relationship.
Soon I felt lonely, I dwell in self-pity and hatred. The emotions affected my job, the negativity affected those around me.
Over the 8 therapy sessions, the counsellor was very patient and provided the help that I felt was structured towards my needs. Not only was I able to get over the heartbreak, but I have also understood myself better, had more mature thinking, built a healthier routine and able to take control of my life better.
Now, 3 months after my therapy ended, I am proud of who I am at this current state. My work performance accelerated and I feel motivated to try new courses which were on my wishlist for a very long time. I'm truly thankful for the help given when it was most needed.
