Dr Kanchan Dilawari
Biography:
As a person passionate about people, Dr. Kanchan pursued her Doctorate in Counseling Psychology after completing her post graduation in Psychology. She has over 6 years of working experience. She has gained immense ability of counseling children as well as adults and parents. She has the ability to observe and assess behavior & performance and develop behavioral strategies to assist ongoing problems or issues. Her focus lies in implementing individualized plans for people, which include short and long- term goals. She strives to have remarkable knowledge of community support resources and family service agencies.
She has also been actively involved in aptitude, ability, interest & Personality testing and has been effectively preparing, compiling and presenting materials such as evaluations, test results and the testimony of other parties. She is trained to distinguish all aspects of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
She also holds experience in conducting workshops (anger management, time management, exam phobia, stress management, parenting style, confidence building, teacher’s effectiveness, Learning Styles, etc.) in various schools and at several places. Also conducted workshops, trainings, assessments and wellness sessions for educational colleges, professional institutions, corporate and various schools.
