Mr. Amiri is the Neuroscientist and founder of The rTMS Centre. Mr Amiri completed his Master’s in Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield and is particularly interested in developing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. Being a student of Prof. Anthony Barker during his studies has allowed him to gain valuable insights and knowledge into the mechanism of TMS. Prof. Anthony Barker is well-known for his pioneering work in developing Transcranial Magnetic stimulation.
Currently, Mr Amiri is utilising TMS to treat mental and neurological health disorders.
Mr Amiri is an integrative psychotherapist with a person-centred approach and a background in mental health and psychiatry. He has a broad knowledge and understanding of issues revolving around brain disorders, with a particular interest in depression and anxiety.
He has been certified in the clinical use of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) by Maastricht University (Clinical training provider for TMS). Mr Amiri is a Full (Industry) member of the British Neuroscience Association.
