Clinica The Mind

We saw Dr. Mircea Zgardau for couples therapy. In the first session he helped each of us to make some realisations. We both felt very positive about the experience and have booked another appointment.

Came to this clinic to try and clarify some difficulties arising in my relationship. Couples therapy lasts 50 minutes and was not sufficient time to make any progress whatsoever in my opinion. We were asked a few generic questions and left room to talk. Afterwards our thoughts were kind of paraphrased by the therapist and on to the next question. After 50 minutes, I did not feel any clearer or even get any indication that continued therapy could be of value. My partner saw the experience on a slightly more positive note but also agrees that the cost is far from justified. Being my first experience with a psychologist, I feel it was not money well spent and am hesitant to even try another clinic/psychologist. Hopefully others will have a more fruitful experience here.

I chose this clinic as it was one of the few advertising treatment in English in the city. The staff were friendly enough. I will not be returning mainly because in my 50 minute session, nothing convinced me that this kind of care could not be received from a friend or family member. I was paying good money for a professional and expected a little more.
