The clinic is lead by an MACP trained physiotherapist who ensures that all the therapists are trained to a high standard in both manual and rehabilitation skills. Chartered Physiotherapist Liz Atha runs the specialist dance, sport and spinal clinic based within the new home of Northern Ballet in Leeds City Centre. Liz Atha is a specialist spinal physiotherapist with MMACP Specialist spinal qualifications. She has been involved with treatment of spinal problems for the past 12 years and receives many referrals and recommendations from local neurosurgeons and spinal surgeons.
Jane graduated with a degree in physiotherapy from the University of Bradford in 2004. Jane started her career as a physiotherapist working for the NHS at York hospital for duration of three and a half years. Following this Jane became a physiotherapist in private practice. Jane is keen horse rider; as a result she wanted to extend her physiotherapy skills in order to accommodate for the treatment of horses. In 2008 Jane graduated as a veterinary physiotherapist at the royal veterinary college in London. Currently Jane shares her time between working at Physio Action and in equine physiotherapy. Jane is clinically experienced in treating all musculoskeletal conditions including sports injuries, spinal problems and providing post-surgery rehabilitation.
