Miracle workers!
Three years ago I was suffering excruciating back pain which I assumed was muscle strain. I was recommended to Physio and Health by someone local who had similar problems and had suffered for nearly a year before discovering this practice and finally getting the problem solved.
I am old school and a bit cynical about these fancy practices but the pain took me there. What a revelation! Kiran took one look at my spine and immediately diagnosed the problem, a dislodged facet trapping a nerve, After three (rather robust) massage sessions over three weeks, I was back to normal, pain-free, and fit to go again. It was near to miraculous how such pain was alleviated so quickly just by accurate diagnosis and skilful application of technique.
Three years later, having forgotten some of the lessons I was given, I had terrible burning pains in my lower right leg. The GP gave me pain killers and recommended an X-Ray, but with COVID, I stayed away from the NHS because of the pressures they were under and went to Physio and Health. Once again, Kiran diagnosed the problem straightaway, a spinal not a leg problem, though that was where the pain was.
Again, a series of massage and traction sessions over a number of weeks, together with a series of home exercises, gradually sorted the problem. I am now back to normal, long walks and bike rides, hedge trimming and fence replacements, all are as easy and pain-free as before, total recovery!
It's unbelievable (to an old sceptic like me) how much pain can be relieved with no pills, injections or surgery, but by accurate diagnosis and skilful physical treatment of the problem. I was more than happy with the charges I paid, in fact, if I had paid ten times as much to alleviate both episodes, it would have paid it, such was my discomfort. Both Kiran and Ami are extremely pleasant, but also efficient, with no time-wasting, and clear in explaining the problem and the treatment, and the long term recommendations to avoid similar recurrences.
I cannot recommend this practice strongly enough. My admiration and gratitude for both, but Kiran in particular, who diagnosed the problems and laid out the course of treatment, are boundless. I was lucky in being recommended to this practice, and have not been reticent in extolling the virtues of this practice to my family, friends and neighbours. If the field of physiotherapy ever needs a saint as a figurehead, then St Kiran would be a good start.
A heartfelt thank you for everything that you have done for me.
