About North East Physio

Sports injuries and painful musculoskeletal and nerve based conditions are treated at this clinic located at Blaydon in Gateshead. Our aim is to help you restore the normal function of patients in the shortest possible time and prevent the condition or injury from recurring. Conditions treated include backache, muscle and joint pain, sprains, sports injuries and arthritis related aches and pains. Services provided include manual physiotherapy, electrotherapy, exercise therapy, post injury and post operative rehabilitation, biomechanical and muscle imbalance assessment and correction, relaxation training and joint and soft tissue mobilisation.

Through Blaydon Physio Massage we also offer a choice of Massage treatments including Swedish Relaxation Massage, Deep Tissue Sports Massage and Surgical Scar Massage.

About
I am a physiotherapist with over Ten years qualification, specialised in the field of assessing and treating muscle, joint, nerve and connective tissue conditions.
I thoroughly enjoy my work and find the human body incredibly fascinating and complex and have become deeply engrossed in the task of helping diagnose and aid those of us who suffer with musculo-skeletal pains. I have a particular keen interest in scar tissue and massage related techniques.
Service
My personal and professional goal in developing this role as North East Physio is to provide a quality physiotherapy service with accessibility and affordability at the forefront of its design. See the ‘prices’ section for current offers/ concessions.
Career
Through my career thus far I have worked within the Private Sector and NHS developing and specialising my skills working with consultants in many departments. I have cared for individuals from elite athletes to persons with  mobility impairements. I have also enjoyed a thoroughly rewarding year as a volunteer in Papua New Guinea helping develop and organise a sustainable wheelchair service capable of reaching the more isolated people with disabilities in rural areas.
My ‘spare time’ is absorbed with spending time with family and with my passion in playing music – Samba band and playing guitar/ songwriting.
