Ms Rachel Burr

Biography:
Rachel qualified in 1999 from Nottingham University with a first class hons degree , and student of the year award. She worked for four years at the NHS Cedars Rehabilitation Unit, treating orthopaedic, work and sports related injuries, whilst doing self employed work with Nottingham Rugby Club and BUSA (British Universities Sports Association). In 2004 she left Cedars to work at Loughborough University within Sports Medicine Services.
As well as the Heathcoat Street Clinic, Rachel also works at Loughborough and Nottingham Universities, with GB Rowing and the GB Wheelchair Tennis team. She has worked with National level athletes in a variety of other sports such as Football, Golf, Athletics, and Tennis. 
Rachels approach to treatment is to work with the patient to get to the root of the problem, rather than treating the symptoms. Treatment techniques include manual therapy, joint mobilisation, soft tissue work, specific exercise prescription and acupuncture. You will recieve a full explanation of the diagnosis, treatment and expected recovery times. 
She has experience with athletes of all abilities, ages, and a wide variety of sports, and will provide you with the same thorough assessment and treatment ,whatever your level of activity or age. 

Ms Deborah Mills

Biography:
Deborah started her career working in health care of the elderly and then rehabilitation of teenagers and young adults with learning and physical disabilities. This led to support of people who had mental illness or mental health problems and in this she gained qualifications in mental health, and qualified as an assessor.
Whilst her children grew she worked as a phlebotomist in a local health centre, as this suited her mother role and also gave her time in the last 3 years to go back to university and qualify as an acupuncturist.
Deborah finds that her interests are drawn towards musculo- skeletal problems, immunity, auto immune issues and paediatric illnesses. She continues to study further.

Mr Marcus Drake

Biography:
Marcus Drake is a Therapist with 10 years experience ranging from elite team sports to individuals of the General Public.
For the last 3 years Marcus has been the Head Sports Therapist for Notts County FC and was part of the First Team backroom staff when Notts won the League 2 title in 2009-10; Marcus is aware how to attend to different individual needs and can adapt a wide range of techniques to achieve an effective treatment.
Having a background in Judo, being a nationally ranked player and a competitive 3rd Dan, Marcus has an understanding of injuries and how massage can aid performance and rehabilitation.
With experience at high profile events in the entertainment industry, Marcus is experienced as dealing with clients of all levels and needs. Artists involved in performing have to be able to cope with aches and pains of repetitive performance and travel.
