She spent time and listened to my concerns 5 5 0 Acupuncture Treatment
Evie put me at ease as soon as I walked in. She spent time and listened to my concerns, gave me an examination and gave me a diagnosis for my pain that no other health professional had but which an MRI then confirmed! I would thoroughly recommend Evie 100%!

Job Title: Physiotherapist Biography: Evie qualified as a physiotherapist in 1997 from the University of East London, which is associated with The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. She spent two years
working there as a junior physiotherapist, also working at St Bartholomews Hospital, and to The London Chest Hospital. In 1999 she travelled and worked as a physiotherapist in New Zealand for two years, which included occupational rehabilitation for the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) within a private practice with an adjoining gym.
She then travelled to Australia and worked within a busy hospital outpatient department and took an active part in the orthopaedic fracture clinic.
In 2002 Evie moved back to Bath, in Somerset where she worked at The Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases on a Chronic Pain Management Unit. This gave her an enormous insight into the problems faced by patients with chronic pain including general physical deconditioning and the huge emotional implications that this can lead to. She developed many skills within a multidisciplinary team, taking rehabilitation classes for its residential patients and teaching functional rehabilitation (reactivation) programmes using a cognitive behavioural therapy framework. This experience formed the basis of her special interest into the link between emotional and physical aspects of pain and dysfunction.
In 2004 Evie returned to Perth, Australia and in 2005 successfully completed her Masters in Manipulative Therapy. This specialist training has fine-tuned her assessment and manual techniques and has given her the confidence and skills to undertake the challenge of developing a new clinic that is now the “Jefford Centre”. Since opening the clinic in October 2007 she has brought together a collective group of therapists that can assist and manage physical and emotional components no matter what the problem may be. Opening and developing this centre has enabled a unique in-house referral system that will guide patients through their healing journey.
