Job Title: Doctor Biography: Dr. Jon ValentineDr. Valentine trained at Leeds University and qualified Bachelor of Medicine (MB) & Bachelor of Surgery (ChB) in July 1986. He gained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of London (MRCP) in November 1989 and Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) in July 1992. He gained his certificate of completion of specialist training (CCST) in anaesthetics in July 1996. In October 2007, he was admitted a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FFPMRCA). He was elected to Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in May 2009. Dr. Valentine was appointed "Consultant in Anaesthetics and Pain Management" at the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital in October 1996. His clinical practice has been dedicated wholly to Pain Management since September 2001 at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital and the Priscilla Bacon Centre, Specialist Palliative Care Unit. Dr. Valentine has been preparing Pain Management medical reports for the court since March 1999. Many of his reports relate to claimants with symptoms of chronic pain persisting beyond the expected healing period and not infrequently associated with a higher level of disability than might be expected.
