Physiotherapist Biography:
Maree competing from an early age at national level in athletics, Tae Kwon do and squash before qualifying as a Physiotherapist from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand in 2008. In New Zealand Maree worked in a specialist Rehabilitation and Rheumatology Hospital-the only one of it’s kind in the Southern hemisphere. Here She worked extensively with Chronic Pain, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Orthopaedic surgery, Hydrotherapy and Community neurology patients. Maree then moved to London where she honed both her musculoskeletal expertise and work based assessments at the Crystal Palace & London fire brigade, the BBC head offices and the New Zealand Embassy. Presently she works closely with leading mixed martial arts athletes and the Female English Touch team. Maree continually develops her skills with post graduate courses in Clinical Pilates, Mulligans Concept, Gait Analysis, Spinal Manual Therapy, Acupuncture& dry needling. Maree is a ‘hands on’ therapist who utilizing her knowledge of pilates and kinesiology for a complete approach to any injury or dysfunction you may present with. Socially Maree performs internationally in cultural singing and dancing events.
