Deirdre graduated with an honours
degree in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin and has got 20 years of
physiotherapy experience, accurately diagnosing and treating a wide range of
conditions. She has worked in private
medicine in London
for the past 15 years with some of the country’s leading consultants.
Deirdre specialises in musculo- skeletal physiotherapy,
in particular lower limb (hip, knee, foot &ankle), rehabilitation of back
and neck pain and treating shoulder conditions. “I believe that the key to resolving an injury is to correctly identify
the cause and to address it with the right balance of manual techniques and
exercise to optimise recovery and prevent recurrence”.
Deirdre is Pilates trained with APPI
and is qualified to use acupuncture as a treatment modality.
Deirdre completed an MBA in 2006 at
Metropolitan University London and combines physiotherapy expertise with her
business skills to provide an all round better service for her clients.
Deirdre has a passion for skiing and
body conditioning training in the gym.
