Ann Le Bek qualified as a practitioner in Combined Decongestive Therapy during 2004 and has since worked as an NHS provider of lymphoedema services for the North Devon PCT, as well as a therapist for An Arm and A Leg,a lymphoedema clinic providing specialist intensive in-patient treatment programmes. After living on Exmoor for the past 25 years, Ann has re-located to Lincolnshire and now splits her time between her practice at Molford House Surgery in Devon and the Sleaford Natural Health Pactice in Lincolnshire as well as being a visiting practitioner to the 56London Road specialist lymphoedema clinic in Dorset. In 2010 Ann Le Bek took on the South West Area Representative roll for the British Lymphology Society. Ann has set up and now co-runs the North Devon Lymphwatch Lymphoedema Support Group. As a keen runner and fitness enthusiast Ann completed the Himalayan 100 mile trail race during 2005 and the Vancouver Marathon 2010. Qualifications:HND Sports Management, Combined Decongestive Therapy - Dr Vodder Method, Diploma Fitness Training and Sports Therapy, British Association for Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Instructor. Professional Affiliations: MLDUK, BLS, BACR In addition to her work as a lymphoedema specialist, Ann has worked extensively in the field of health and fitness for 15 years, focusing on injury rehabilitation, musculo- skeletal dysfunction, cardiac rehabilitation and exercise therapy. With a scientific approach and an in- depth knowledge of muscle testing and imbalance, bio- mechanics and a wealth of experience in fitness training, Ann offers tailored personal training regimes and expert exercise advice to both lymphoedema patients and a wide range of sportsmen and women.
