Cardiff is the location of this physiotherapy clinic where first class physiotherapy, sports massage and podiatry services are provided. A detailed assessment is conducted at first. Physiotherapy is employed to treat back and neck pain and injuries, whiplash, joint and muscle pain and sprains, repetitive strain injuries, overuse injuries, immobilization caused by accidents or illness, incontinence and pelvic instability. Treatments performed include manipulations, mobilizations, electrotherapy, exercise therapy, massage therapy, sports massage, podiatry and acupuncture.
Since graduating from UWIC in1997 with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry, Gafin has remained committed to his research and development within the podiatry field, completing postgraduate courses in Biomechanics, Podiatric Orthotic Therapy, Muscle Balance Techniques and Acupuncture.
Gafin currently works full-time in Musculoskeletal Podiatry and Biomechanics within the health service in South Wales and holds specialist clinics in Occupational Health (Staff Health) and Orthopaedic triage. He is also carrying out a research degree (MPHil) at Cardiff University researching the benefits of Foot Orthotic Therapy in patients with foot, ankle and knee problems.
Since qualifying as a dentist in 1986, Sharmila’s high standards and (conventional and cosmetic) dentistry savvy have earned her a longstanding client-base in the field — and since 2007, has used this same ethos to perfect the art of facial aesthetics.
Sharmila’s expertise incorporates wrinkle reduction treatments, dermal filler solutions, chemical peels and Dermaroller treatments — allowing her to offer clients a complete approach to non-surgical face lift.
An affiliate with the Association of Dental Implantology, the International Academy of Aesthetic Facial Academics, the Enlighten Whitening System, and a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Sharmila’s dedication to innovative developments in both the cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics fields has led to the nickname ‘Mrs Gadget’!
