Martin is a specialist musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist and guest lecturer at Ulster University.
Having graduated from the University of Ulster in 2003 Martin took up employment in the NHS where he worked as a senior physiotherapist. He soon progressed to working exclusively in private practice and worked at One2one physiotherapy and sports injury clinic for 5 years before establishing fusion physio.
Martin has extensive experience in the treatment and management of sports injuries and is a member of the association of chartered physiotherapists in sport and exercise medicine (ACPSM). He has worked in elite level sport with both national and international level athletes most notably as physiotherapist to the Armagh Senior Gaelic football team between 2005-2009. He continues to work in High Performance sport through the Sports Institute of Northern Ireland (SINI) where he works with international level athletes competing across a variety of sports including Badminton, Athletics, Squash, Judo, Swimming, and Rowing.
In 2012 Martin completed his Masters in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University, and is a fully accredited member of the musculoskeletal association of physiotherapists (MACP).
