About Evolution Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic
Evolution Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic is based at the bottom of Ballyclare town beside the six mile river and opposite the Methodist Church. The clinic is on the first floor above Paw Prints Dog Grooming and as such there is one flight of stairs to negotiate. Anyone with mobility problems should phone in advance to arrange extra help with the stairs.
As far as our ethos is concerned, we believe that life is complicated enough and as impressive as long words sound we don't want to overcomplicate life with unnecessary medical terms. Evolution offers modern evidence based hands-on Physiotherapy. You will be assessed, diagnosed and have the problem explained. Then we will get to work on releasing any tension in the muscles and joints that have been causing your problems. When you are moving better with less pain we'll start your rehab program. This is essential so that the muscles are re-trained on how to sit, stand and move correctly. This is aimed at helping you improve your stability and control to prevent future problems. Clinically, this is much better after a session involving hands-on therapy.
As always in physiotherapy, getting you better is teamwork. It revolves around you and is led by Evolution. We want to help you understand what is wrong and what you need to do to get better.
Evolution's physiotherapist Steven Hanley has nine years experience treating musculoskeletal problems and has a post-graduate qualification in Spinal Manipulation.
