Biography:
Professor Speed is a Consultant in Rheumatology, Sport and Exercise Medicine. She is also a Senior Physician for the English Institute of Sport, the main provider of medical and scientific support for British Olympic Sports. She is a Member of the British Olympic Medical Committee, is Chief Medical Officer of Team GB Badminton and Team GB Shooting and is Physician to Middlesex County Cricket Club and the academy at the Lords Cricket Ground. She was Chief Medical Officer for the Athlete Holding Camp in China during the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. She has also accompanied elite sports teams across the world to major sporting events.

Biography:
Dr Simon Owens undertook his medical training at Cambridge University and Guys Hospital. He is GP at Trumpington Street Medical Practice, and worked an Associate Specialist in Sports Medicine at the Peter Wilson Sports Clinic, Addenbrooke’s Hospital for 16 years. He has the Diploma in Sports Medicine and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine. He has managed elite World Championship and Olympic medal winning athletes as Medical Officer to the Cambridge University Boat Race squad since 1992 and is a member of the British Rowing Medical Panel. He is also Medical Officer to Cambridge University Rugby team and he has managed elite rugby players and toured with the team to Chile, Argentina, Japan and Italy.

Biography:
Qualified from the University of Nottingham in 2005 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Propelled straight into the world of sport becoming physiotherapist at Loughborough University for both men’s and women’s 1st football teams and subsequently physiotherapist for British University Sports Association covering national and international multisport events. In 2008 became lead physiotherapist for the Great Britain Handball teams helping them to compete at the London 2012 Olympics. Since the Olympics have been studying for a masters in Sports Injury Management at Sheffield Hallam University whilst working alongside TASS athletes at the university physiotherapy clinic. Currently actively involved with the GBR Boxing Association and RFU U15 squads providing match and tournament physiotherapy
