Following a GP diagnosis of vertigo, I had episodes of dizziness and was unable to walk in a straight line. After some online research into the condition, I discovered that the condition could be helped by vestibular physiotherapy.
I decided to make an appointment with Kelly at Advantage Physiotherapy in Little Chalfont, and was not disappointed. Kelly put me through a series of head movements called "The Epley Manoeuvre" to move the fragments of debris within the channel of the inner ear. With some additional exercises at home I was able to resolve the balance problem after 3 appointments with Kelly.
When the problem reoccurs, I do not hesitate to return to Kelly, and I would definitely recommend Advantage Physiotherapy to family and friends.
I primarily chose this clinic because Kelly is trained to treat vestibular problems. During my first visit, Kelly listened to the background of my problem and then explained how she intended to treat me by explaining how the Epley Manoeuvre was conducted. She kept me informed throughout the process, and as a result of this I have every confidence in what Kelly recommends. Advantage Physiotherapy provides a professional service with knowledgeable and experienced therapists.
