My Physio

Graduated from UWE Bristol in 2002 with a BSC (Hons) in Physiotherapy. She started work as so many Physiotherapists do as a Junior in the NHS doing rotational specialities such as stroke rehabilitation, respiratory assistance, orthopaedic rehabilitation and outpatients.

Qualified in 2003 from the University the West Of England, Bristol with a 2:1 BSC (Hons) Physiotherapy degree.Worked since 2003 within the NHS. Her career first started in the Bristol Royal Infirmary, then transferring to Taunton NHS Trust to specialise in Trauma and Orthopaedic and finally returning back to Bristol to work for South Gloucestershire PCT. She initially worked as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, then progressing onto a Clinical Specialist post and now is an Extended Scope Practitioner (ESP). Lizzy’s ESP post works within the Musculoskeletal triage assessment clinic for South Gloucestershire PCT.

Graduated from Bournemouth University in 2005 with a BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy.Started work in Somerset within the musculoskeletal service before moving onto the acute hospital to complete her core junior rotations, including neurology, respiratory, orthopaedics and outpatients. This assisted her to develop a breadth of knowledge and skills within Physiotherapy. During this time she decided that her passion was in musculoskeletal outpatients and she took on a static specialist post. In this role she ran rehabilitation classes, hydrotherapy classes and locumed to local GP surgeries.
