Knee pain management with rehabilitator  (1 hour, 3 sessions)

The Future Standard of Care in the World of Knee Bracing

Until the development of the Guardian Knee REHABILITATOR™ System, many patients lost strength when relying on a knee brace for support and protection. More importantly, no clinical evidence exists to suggest that current functional knee braces have the ability to strengthen the weakened leg during brace use. The REHABILITATOR™ System represents a significant advancement in knee bracing.

Guardian REHABILITATORS™ strengthen the affected leg during brace wear such that the affected leg is clinically strengthened, gait is restored, and significant clinical benefits carry over UNBRACED after just 90 days of brace wear. This system of knee braces is an alternative to functional knee braces and has significant prehabilitation and rehabilitation benefits dramatically improving patient outcomes in as little as 90 days.

Back strengthening n focused core stability program (1 hour, 5 sessions)

Back strengthening n focused core stability program - Physio Asia Therapy CentreBack strengthening n focused core stability program - Physio Asia Therapy Centre

SCORES Back Care Program: Assessment and retraining of the stabilizing muscles of the Spine using Realtime ultrasound ot visualise muscles in actio nad learning the right way to activate these deep muscles.

Research has shown that after back pain, the deep or the core muscles are not activated as effectively and the activity of the superficial muscles is often increased. This diminishes the stability of the vertebrae and predisposes the back to re-injury.

Good core strength is important at every age and fitness level. Core muscles are composed of the superficial and deep abdominal muscles, the deep stabilizing muscles of the lumbar spine and pelvis (lower back) and the thoracic and cervical spine (mid and upper spine).

Training the core muscles corrects postural imbalances. The biggest benefit of core training is to develop functional fitness which is essential to daily living, sports and regular activities.

Facial Palsy or Bell's palsy Treatment (1 hour, 8 sessions)

Facial Palsy or Bell's palsy Treatment - Physio Asia Therapy Centre

Facial Nerve Paralysis On Adults (Bell’s Palsy)

This is described as weakness of one side of the face which affects the nerve supplying the facial muscles. Bell’s palsy affecting 80% of sufferers is the most common type of weakness. This is a condition in which the facial nerve gets inflamed and may occur in people who are otherwise healthy.

Physiotherapy treatment:

  1. Motor Point Electrical Stimulation is the most effective way to treat this as it aids the muscle re-education and reduces the recovery time to 3-6 weeks
  2. Facial Exercises are taught by your therapist to make the facial muscles stronger, accelerates the recovery process
  3. Special Facial Massage is done to relax the tense muscles that is otherwise overworking

Please seek help IMMEDIATELY if you do suffer from these symptoms.

Physio Asia’s Treatment Approach

Solutions to strengthening weak pelvic floor muscles are easy if you know how. The plest and safest non surgical methods to reduce incontinence and strengthen your pelvic floor muscles are as follows:

Kegel Exercises: re-

educate and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles.

Real Time Ultrasound Imaging:

allows you to see muscles contractions on a screen and is a great tool to re-educate and strengthen your pelvic floor and other core muscles.

EMG Biofeedback and stimulation:

electrodes are attached to a bio-feedback machine and are used to sense your muscle activity and assist in strengthening your muscle contractions.

Bladder retraining:

by following a program designed to retrain your bladder, you can develop more control of when you go to the toilet.

Please don’t forget

, Incontinence is manageable and treatable.
