Chief Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Master of Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy (Aus) ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist AHPC Registered Physiotherapist Mr Wesley Chee Wai Siong is the Chief Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at The Sole Clinic. He graduated with a Master Degree in Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy from University of South Australia in 2010 after receiving a postgraduate scholarship from Changi General Hospital. In doing so, he became one of the youngest physiotherapists in Singapore to have a specialised Masters degree in his field at that time. Prior to joining The Sole Clinic, he spent 3 years working as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in a private practice (2012-2015) and also worked as a Sports Physiotherapist at Changi Sports Medicine Centre and Singapore Sports Medicine Centre from 2008 to 2012. Sports & Musculoskeletal injuries are his main area of specialisation. Wesley has special interests in treating runners and patients with shoulder problems. He had worked with the U16 and U17 national teams from the Football Association of Singapore and was involved as a physiotherapist in the inaugural Asian Youth Games held in Singapore in 2009. Wesley had provided sports physiotherapy and on-field coverage for numerous sports including Australian Rules Football, Cricket and Soccer. Wesley exercises regularly and is a firm believer in preventing injuries through customised exercises for the individuals. Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Diploma in Physiotherapy, Singapore Master in Clinical Physiotherapy (Manipulative Therapy) (Aus) AHPC Registered Physiotherapist Member of International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) Guojie is a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who completed his Master Degree in Clinical Physiotherapy from Curtin University (Australia) in 2012. He also held an Advanced Certification in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, a one-year vigorous program of 5 musculoskeletal workshops and exams conducted by Specialist Physiotherapists (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists). Before joining The Sole Clinic, Guojie spent 6 years working in all aspects of orthopaedic physiotherapy in Singapore General Hospital (SGH). During his time in SGH he served as the pioneer physiotherapist within a multidisciplinary auto-immune and rheumatology team, treating patients with rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis and fibromyalgia. He has also amassed tremendous experience working in the Emergency Department, getting early access to patients with acute low back pain, whiplash-associated disorders and giddiness. Guojie’s has experienced working with professional athletes as well, serving as Team Physiotherapist for the U-21 squad with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) in 2010. Guojie’s passion lies in managing clients with complex pain disorders, especially persistent low back pain and has gained a reputation of being one of the very few physiotherapists who specialises in chronic pain management. He has been a trailblazer in Singapore General Hospital Physiotherapy department, advocating an evidence-informed, multi-dimensional approach in the management for persistent pain. She then went on to complete her Masters of Clinical Physiotherapy (Manipulative Therapy) with Curtin University in 2012. She is also an associate member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Genevieve first started her Physiotherapy career in Mount Elizabeth Hospital, treating a variety of cases ranging from neurological to post-operative conditions, to musculoskeletal injuries and arthritic pain. Thereafter, she spent 6 years in private practice treating a variety of work-related musculoskeletal pain, and sporting injuries. With her passion in running, scuba diving, dance and yoga, Genevieve has developed a special interest in overuse and sporting injuries. She has also been the on-field Sports Physiotherapist for a number of sporting events, such as Men’s Rugby, Netball, and Singapore Ultimate Frisbee.

Director & Chief Podiatrist Bachelor of Podiatry (Aus) Fiona graduated with a Degree of Podiatry from University of South Australia in 2008 after receiving a CGH podiatry scholarship award. She has been practicing as a senior podiatrist in Changi General Hospital for 5 years. She is rigorously trained in all aspects of podiatry and had amassed a depth of experience having been an anchor podiatrist in both Changi Sports Medicine Centre and the high risk diabetic foot clinics. She was also hugely involved in training of students and junior podiatrists. She was the elected former President of Podiatry Association for 2013-2015. Being the youngest ever serving President for the association, she led the association with tenacity and innovation, positioning the association as the voice for podiatrists in Singapore. Fiona understands the need to provide patients with more treatment options for foot conditions for patients’ varied needs and priorities. This led her to be one of the first certified Yamuna Foot Fitness Practitioner in Singapore, allowing her to provide treatment alternatives to foot problems like bunions and flat feet. She has an avid interest in sports podiatry and podopediatrics, and enjoys many kinds of sporting activities.

Senior Podiatrist Bachelor of Podiatry (Aus) Zelina Loh graduated from La Trobe University (Australia) with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2011. She joined The Sole Clinic in February 2016, having most recently been with the Podiatry Department at the Foot Care and Limb Design Centre (FLC) in Tan Tock Seng Hospital. In her previous role at FLC, she worked closely with specialist doctors and the Prosthetics and Orthotics department in the treatment of high risk foot conditions. Her experience with complex foot conditions also enabled her to run the private clinic at the medical centre in Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Initially based in the Australian state of Victoria prior to her move to Singapore, she had experience working in private practice, where she provided varied services ranging from general feet treatments, diabetic foot care, podopaediatrics and biomechanical consultations to her patients. During her time there, Zelina had also worked closely with general practitioners, physiotherapists and podiatric surgeons in providing holistic care for her patients. Zelina’s working experience with other health care professionals had resulted in vast improvements in her patients’ condition. With a passion for what she does, our new podiatrist strives to educate patients and healthcare professionals on the importance of foot care.
