Diagnosis of FAI and treatment both pre and post total Hip Replacement
I have been attending this clinic since May of last year. I initially attended with what I thought was, and what my previous physio believed was, IT band strain. Kathy conducted a careful analysis of my problem and diagnosed me as suffering from FAI which soon after that led to her recommending that I have an MRI scan. The scan revealed that her diagnosis was correct and following a referral to an orthopedic consultant I was told that I needed a total hip Replacement of my left hip.
This news came as a complete shock to me, but Kathy was fantastic in the way that she helped me through the whole process of preparing for my operation that I had in December 2013. Following my operation she assisted me in making a very speedy recovery and in returning to full activity within less than 12 weeks. She was brilliant in keeping in touch with me by phone text and e-mail and fully committed to assisting me as much as she could with my recovery. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending her to anybody who is looking for a committed, dedicated and professional physio who is passionate about her work.
