Physiotherapy Omirou Nikolas

I attended this clinic with what I thought was sciatica? I had been misdiagnosed in the Uk, Nicolas corrected that and I began a successful treatment for Hip Bursitis, the people who work here are very professional, and I thoroughly recommend them.

Highly recommend this clinic. I had endured a fracture of the major tuberosity of the humerus bone, which was the most difficult and painful injury I had been through. The physiotherapy sessions helped me regain the strength and movement that I had lost.

I had a severe muscle spasm locking up my lower back on my first day in Paphos. I got an appointment on the day. I had 4 sessions including advice about exercises.

Each session was an hour of heat treatment/ultrasound/acupuncture and magnet and 2 sessions of electric shock which really did the trick.

The clinic is spotlessly clean. The staff spoke excellent English. There was every type of treatment machine. I was very impressed. Value for money is exceptional. An hour for €25. In the UK that would be £100!

I have problems in my knees and ankle etc.

Mr. Nikolas has commenced appropriate treatment. He is enthusiastic and has infused confidence in me for positive results in due course. Identified muscular problems requiring multiple sessions due to elapsed time in seeking remedy! I feel I can trust his enthusiasm. Time will tell!

Nikolas has healed my back from chronic pain which other physiotherapists were unable to succeed with.

He is an extremely knowledgeable and professional therapist. I cannot thank him enough for all he has done for me and the patience he has shown. He has contemporary machines to assist with his treatments and there is only 1 other physio on the island with these machines. So to get the level of treatment you receive from his is no easy task.

I cannot rate him highly enough he is simply amazing. Bravo Nikolas! I would also like to thank his assistant Susanna too for all her help and efforts, she has been taught by the best and it shows in her treatments!

I heard about Nikolas' excellent reputation and wasted no time in contacting him. I was most impressed from the moment I met him with his vast knowledge and confident manner. He certainly knows what he is talking about and ensures that you achieve the required result. His equipment is exceptional and he has 2 gyms that are fully equipped, most impressive!

Nikolas gave me treatment for my lower back with his machines suitable for my problem. They were gentle yet effective.

Treatment was lovely but unfortunately, I couldn’t continue as I had to return to the Uk.

Nikolas has treated my wife following a bleed on the brain operation. When he started my wife could not move her lower limbs. He concentrated on improving her muscles that had been dormant for approximately 2 months. Nikolas used various techniques to treat her, the result being that she is now walking with a stick and sometimes without. He is currently showing her how to walk up stairs!. If there is anybody looking for physiotherapy treatment I would strongly recommend Omirou Nikolas. The added bonus is that he gives great value for money.

I broke my left ankle in a classic tibia and fibula bilateral fracture on 30 June 2017. After initial postoperative care, I went see Nikolas and his assistant Susanne. A single session lasting about an hour had me transformed from not being able to walk downstairs without a stick to dispensing with the aid. After the third treatment, I could walk positively with confidence. Since then I have made steady progress in the care of these two excellent clinicians.

Nikolas prescribed laser and TECAR therapy followed by a short time using an ice pack. The sessions finished with an intermittent compression pump (stocking). These treatments are painless and the latter is particularly soothing. My ankle is now normal again. I find it hard to believe how quickly it was achieved.

As a retired dental practitioner, I was impressed by the approach to my treatment. Nikolas took a full history relevant to my injury and insisted on radiographs before proceeding. He explained how the therapy would be done and both he and his assistant Suzanne are impressively professional and quietly reassuring.

I chose this clinic because it was recommended by my orthopedic surgeon and I was not in any way disappointed. It is completely up to date, clean and well organized. Treatment charges are very reasonable and I have no hesitation in recommending the Omirou practice to anyone.

I had two separate ankle problems: ligament damage on one and chronic Achilles tendonitis in the other. I had a series of approximately ten sessions and can honestly say that the treatment made a huge difference. I received a range of treatments for each ankle and the results over a three week period were outstanding. I would have no hesitation in recommending this clinic.
