About Summertown Clinic

In 1975, David and Kerry Ruddick opened the Summertown Clinic making it the longest established Clinic of Complementary Medicine in Oxford.

This family run business is a friendly and open centre for patients wanting osteopathy and other complementary and alternative therapies. We have 24 caring and professional practitioners who cover a wide array of therapies including Osteopathy, Acupuncture, McTimoney Chiropractic, Massage, Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Reflexology, Nutritional Therapy and Homeopathy to name a few of the 16 we offer. All our therapists are fully trained, registered and have years of experience.

We endeavour to make every patient's visit to the Summertown Clinic a positive and beneficial experience.

More such treatments are needed but now I'm more optimistic

After months of various treatments for a spinal problem caused by awkward walking following a foot operation I had a therapeutic massage from Audri and for the first time could walk upright without a stick. It's a very deep treatment but she found just the right spot to work this magic. More such treatments are needed but now I'm more optimistic.

The treatment was effective

I was in a lot of pain after falling out of a van and someone recommended this clinic to me. The treatment was effective. I’m happy with the price I paid - I think it was a reasonable rate.

My thigh was badly injured and the doctor knew exactly where to locate the pain. He was really good and I’ve got no complaints about him. I did have a period off work because of the injury, but I’m back now and everything seems to be working normally.
