Born and raised in Thessaloniki. Graduate School of Medicine, University of Thessaly , specialized in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University Hospital of Larissa , where is a PhD student of medicine. Was trained for two years in the United States (Allegheny General Hospital, Drexel University, Pittsburgh, PA) , after obtaining H1B visa as an internationally recognized scientist, with full surgical and clinical activity in surgery of the shoulder, elbow and hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery, gaining extensive surgical experience. The special scientific interest focuses on arthroscopic shoulder, elbow and wrist in total hip and microsurgery. The extensive research and writings include 21 published papers and abstracts in international journals, five book chapters , a large number of presentations and lectures, 30 of which in international conferences, as well as several academic distinctions, awards and grants . He is an active member of Greek Society of Hand Surgery and Upper Extremity, the Greek Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, the Greek company Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine and the Greek Society of Trauma Surgery and Bone.
