Dr. Topkas Athanasios MD - Surgery - Orthopedic Traumatology

He graduated with excellent Medical School University of Varna, Bulgaria in 1998 and started his medical career as a rural doctor in the health center Skydras. In 2002 began specializing in Orthopaedic Traumatology Cheirourgiki- General Hospital of Edessa. In 2004 he continued specialization in the First Hospital IKA Athens Melissia and KAT Hospital . In 2008 he completed the specialty of Orthopaedic Surgery. In 2009 he was hired as Curator II (Auxiliary) at the Department of Sports Medicine at Hospital KAT and 2010 he worked as a Lecturer II (Subsidiary) in Section B Hand Surgery and Microsurgery, KAT Hospital in During the specification and tenure as Curator at KAT Hospital, specialized in all operations related to the upper extremity and the hand. Also specialized in Sports Medicine, with particular emphasis on knee arthroscopy and anterior cruciate knee rehabilitation (knee ligament injuries). During his medical career, he has actively participated in the creation of a large number of jobs, which have been presented in Greek and international conferences and has contributed to writing posts. He has taken part in numerous postgraduate programs and Workshop, and has been organizing committee at various conferences. He is a member of several Greek and foreign scientific societies.
