In the later years, between 1993 and 1996 she was teaching anatomy at Melbourne University and Stanford University and she got her Diploma in Anatomy during this time. In 1999 she obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (in orthopaedics) in Melbourne, secured a place at St Vincent's hospital in Melbourne in Reconstructive and Alignment surgery.
From 2000 to 2002, she participated in post FRACS fellowships in Knee Sports injuries - in Melbourne and Innsbruck, and in limb deformity correction in Liverpool UK, and Belfast.
She is currently practicing as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at St Vincent's Public and Private Hospitals, as well as John Fawkner Private, Essendon Private Werribee Mercy, and Seymour District Hospitals. Her services include limb and joint reconstruction, arthritis, sports injuries, trauma, and congenital defects.
