When you have nearsightedness, also known as myopia, you can clearly see close-up items, but distant ones appear hazy. When you have farsightedness (hyperopia), you can see distant objects well, but close-up items appear hazy. A general visual blur is a result of astigmatism. Astigmatism occurs when the cornea flattens or bends irregularly, disrupting the focus of both near and far vision. Traditionally, a person with hazy vision would use glasses or contact lenses to bend (refract) light rays. The cornea (the transparent dome-shaped tissue at the front of your eye) can be reshaped in order to achieve the required refraction and vision correction.

At first I was hesitant to book the procedures of my 2 sons since I have no first-hand information about the clinic and mainly rely in the reviews online. But from the start of the treatment until the last day everything went smoothly. Thanks to the amazing staff and doctors of Fizikon and specially Inci of PMC. I am truly thankful I came across PMC. Inci made it sure that everything was well taken cared of from hotel bookings, airport pick-up/drop-off and coordination in the clinic. Everything was made easy for us especially since it was our first time to come to Turkey. Highly recommended!
