My advice for anyone in the UK (or elsewhere for that matter) is to ignore the expensive and glitzy Harley Street, celebrity surgeries & the many new “budget” clinics appearing around London & get your hair transplant done by the professionals at Hairneva in Istanbul. Before my procedure, I did extensive research & contacted several clinics in Istanbul & actually visited one of the budget clinics here in London (which was horrendous)! Hairneva where not only one of the quickest and most detailed in their responses to my many questions prior to choosing my clinic, but from the moment of 1st contact to seeing me out the door on day 2, Sevil (my contact at Hairneva) was nothing short of exceptional & looked after my every need.

Be in no doubt, a hair transplant is NOT a minor procedure akin to having a hair treatment injection, my procedure took almost 11 hours and the fact alone that Hairneva carry out all their procedures in an actual hospital should elevate them on to anyone’s shortlist. The hospital is private, upmarket & professional. Before my procedure, I was given a full blood test, blood pressure & health check (all very reassuring). Back to the Hairneva team & what can I say! Whilst I didn’t see Dr Öztürk in person during my stay, the entire team were professional, courteous and polite. Nothing was rushed & everyone new precisely what they were doing. As stated, my procedure took 11 hours and at one point after I started to feel a bit faint (you are lying down for a very long time) I was offered a break and served a meal despite the time being 9.30pm. The entire procedure never once felt rushed and the reassuring Sevil stayed throughout – in fact we were the last ones to leave the Hospital at 11.30pm! For anyone not familiar with Istanbul, Sevil arranged all my transportation including the return trip to the airport.

All in all, any nerves I had about having my procedure done abroad were negated by the professionalism of the team and their attention to detail. Best of all, I had my transplant done for roughly the same price as that quoted by that horrendous budget clinic in London which operated (literally!) above a shop! The difference in service & surroundings could not have been more glaring!

I’m now in month two following my procedure – the donor area has completely healed (no gaps) & as predicted the transplanted new hair has shed and there is just a hint of new growth underneath. I’ll make my final judgement in a few months’ time but thanks to the Hairneva team even at this frustrating stage in the process I am 100% confident that by this time next year, I’ll once again have a full head of hair. In summary, I could not recommend Hairneva enough, especially for anyone like myself who is extremely conscious about their hair and a little daunted by having it done abroad - what I thought would be a nightmare experience, in reality, turned out to be a lovely Istanbul break with the added bonus of having a professional hair-transplant whilst I was there! All I had to do was show up.

Last month I had a hair transplant in HairNeva. I was interested from the first moments, it is professional and high level center, thank you very much my consultant Bari's and to his team.

The team was perfect! They were very careful with the operation of the DHI method (4500 grafts). I will continue to pretend them anywhere!

It took me about 1 year to decide for hair transplantation. Finally, Dr Güncel and Dr. Yusuf won my trust so I wanted to have my hair transplantation at HairNeva. With the DHI method, they planted 4200 grafts. Before the transplantation, I was scared to have pain, but there was no pain at all. I am thinking about to open a blog in the near future to inform about the process.

Hello, I was thinking about hair transplantation for a long time. After I made my decision I started to get in contact with many clinics. I have learned that Turkey is the best country where you can make Hair transplantation, so I got a medical check-up in some hospitals. These clinics all said they could do hair transplantation for 1400-2600 Euro and there would be good results.

The experience was excellent from the beginning to the end. I had no complications. The staff was very caring. They are always available when you have questions or concerns. If you call the office, your call is taken by a health professional.

You are never told that someone will call you back. I was made to feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure. It went very well. I had no complications. I am healing beautifully.

Overall, very smooth process and swift recovery. I am into eighty-five days, and I can start to see small hairs popping up everywhere. The owner/doctor of the clinic is also a sculpture/artist, and he has a great perception of anatomy. Therefore, his final hairline decision was very natural.

The best thing about the clinic is that they do all their operations in one of the best international hospitals of the town right across the street. The operation completed in surgical environment. I believe this is critical since the operation is messy itself and needs to be done under very medical conditions. I have been visiting them every fifteen days for [Name redacted] supplementation. They are good people.

My hair loss was increasing day by day. I tried lots of shampoos, minoxidil, and oils, etc. But it was really time loss. Because you must use these kind of things for the rest of your life. And not really grows the hair like my hair plantation.
