Born in Thessaloniki, he graduated from the Greek College of Thessaloniki (primary school) and the American College of Thessaloniki - Anatolia (High School). He graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1985. In 1986, he received his permit to pursue the medical profession. He concluded his military service as a physician from June 1986 to March 1988. From April 1988 until May 1989, he served his term as a rural doctor in the clinic of Kato Milia in Pieria. From 1989 to 1994, he served as trainee surgeon in the First Clinic of the Hippokrateio Hospital of Thessaloniki. He received his specialization as general surgeon in 1994. Since 1995, he has served as surgeon in the surgical clinic of the Second IKA Hospital "Panagia". He is in charge of the Endoscopic and Invasive Surgery Department and surgeon at the Laparoscopic Department and the General Surgery Department. For five years, he was in charge of the surgical department of a large private clinic in Thessaloniki. Since then, he has acted as associate of various private clinics. From 1995 to 2008 he was the only hair transplant surgeon (except in the last 18 months) in northern Greece, in a company with which he enjoyed a common upward course. He conducted thousands of hair transplants, applying innovative techniques, and closely following developments in global hair transplantation. He always operated within a purely medical and ethical framework, as he is passionately committed to continue to do in the future. He has presented 94 scientific papers and has participated in 141 conferences, seminars and other scientific events.
