Dr G Singh is a Consultant General Physician and Gastroenterologist based at Bassetlaw Hospital, Worksop where he is involved in the care of emergency patients and is one of only two Consultants looking after all patients on the dedicated Gastroenterology ward.
His practice covers all aspects of non viral hepatology and luminal gastroenterology, including gastro-oesophageal reflux, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, bloating, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis), coeliac disease, gastrointestinal malignancy and colonic polyps.
Dr Singh is skilled in performing the following procedures: diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy, insertion of feeding tubes (nasogastric, nasojejunal, and endoscopic gastrostomy).
His training in Gastroenterology included posts at Manchester Royal Infirmary, Leeds General Infirmary, St James’s University Hospital in Leeds and the Leeds Liver Transplant unit.
