Pregnancy with chromosome abnormalities children can cause hypertension in pregnancy. Patau and Edward syndrome can lead to child mortality after birth. Even though, Down syndrome can survive after birth, it will affect the IQ and general health of the child. This technique has been well established for decades to select trisomy and monosomy of 13, 18, 21, X and Y chromosomes. Diseases caused by these chromosome abnormalities are Patau, Edward and Down syndrome.
