I wanted to share my story and support all other girls who are going through IVF and also say BIG THANK YOU to everyone at the New Hope.
My baby is not a baby any more. She is 10 years old now but I remember everything that I went through to have her. I am still in touch with some of the staff at the clinic even 10 years later. I saw they had started Google reviews which were not available by then so I decided to help them with reviews.
Normally people fast to leave bad reviews but would not have time to leave a good one. Also, you have to remember that this clinic accepts worse cases. For example, in Canada, they don’t even accept you after 45 years because they know it would be too hard to get lucky and possibly they worry about their success rating. You have to understand New Hope clinics want each patient to be pregnant and do whatever they can and can’t, but they are not God and in the end, it is all about luck and how healthy your eggs and uterus are.
This is my story.
I did my first IVF in Canada when I was 36 y.o. We did not get any luck, no eggs have been retrieved.
I heard about mini IVF and did some research, it is how I found New Hope Guadalajara. I came for the first time here in March 2012 and I got one transfer with my eggs, it did not work but I was so pleased that Dr Alejandro Chavez got 3 eggs from these two mini IVF cycles, as I have been told in Canada that there is no chance to get eggs from me at all.
From the moment I stepped inside the clinic, I felt like I was home. All staff at the clinic is very nice and so helpful in everything. They are doing everything and you will feel like you are home and on another hand are very professional and know what they are doing. Always smile, and always be polite, and you will feel like you found a new family.
They have helped me with everything. I don’t speak Spanish, so it was scary to come to Guadalajara by myself. Cristina, the administrator, was using her own time, trying to find a nice place for me to rent. Thank you, Cristina.
I don’t know how many times I asked the receptionist, to order drinking water for my apartment or call a taxi for acupuncture, another girl asked her to find a kindergarten for her son. I just can imagine all the requests she is dealing with. Now, just think about whether you are going to a clinic in the US or Canada, there is a very small chance, that you could ask anyone there to help you with these kinds of requests.
Lizeth Barrientos, the embryologist, was amazing! She is so dedicated to her job. You can tell right away that she just loves and loves and loves what she is doing. Thank you, Lizeth.
Alejandro Chavez is a BRILLIANT DOCTOR! He is so passionate about what he is doing. He comes with a unique treatment for each patient. Most of the patients he is dealing with, worse cases, patients, who would not be accepted by other clinics, because of their age or high FSH or clinic rates, but this is not his case. He is truly passion about what he is doing and has a lot of knowledge and experience. He is getting great results and I am an example.
I got pregnant after 6 years of trying
I did a lot of IVF. I left my work and lived 4 months in Guadalajara in a different country and far away from home, Canada. I went through the hell and emotional roller coaster by myself. I feel all your pain ladies that you are going through right now.
I want to tell you” DO NOT GIVE UP!”
Deepest from my heart.
