Dr Elena Kontogianni BSc, PhD, is an embryologist-geneticist and a pioneer in infertility treatment and preimplantation genetics.Scientific excellence combined with her deep caring for the patients is what makes her unique in her field. Handyside. She is actively working on Preimplantation Diagnosis for chromosomal abnormalities and ß-thalassaemia and was awarded by the Greek Medical Association for her research. She teaches at the Post-Graduate Program of Reproductive Medicine in the Medical School of the University of Athens.
