Established in 1981, the Damai Service Hospital (HQ) is a premier Malaysian hospital group offering secondary level healthcare. Rao's Ear, Nose, Throat and Neck Clinic is headed by Dr. Venkateswara Rao. Dr. Rao graduated in University of Malaya in 1993 and acheived his master in Otorhinolaryngology in University Malaya in 2002.

He has great interest in rhinology particularly endoscopy sinus surgery. Dr. Rao is able to perform advanced endoscopic surgeries, e:g: endoscopic dacryocystorhinostomy. He is also mastered in performing major head and neck surgeries, e:g: radical neck dissection and head and neck reconstruction with flaps.
