Specialist Emergency Physician and Intensivist at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital, Emergency Department and Intensive Care Units. His special interest in the study of allergies and asthma led him to further his studies and he now also holds a Diploma in Allergology. He is a member of the Allergy Society of South Africa and a passionate and experienced Allergist consulting from Netcare Parklane Clinic. He is a lecturer at Wits University – Division of Emergency Medicine and a Phd candidate at Wits University – Division of Critical Care. He holds the following Medal Achievements: 2011 – Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa Medal for Best Candidate in the practical component of the FCEM Fellowship Examination of the CMSA. 2011 – The Kloeck Family Medal for Outstanding Achievement in the FCEM Fellowship Examination of the CMSA. 2015 – The Eugene Weinberg Medal for Best Candidate in the Diploma in Allergology examination of the CMSA.
