Mohd Rizal holds a Master’s Degree in Medical Science from UKM and was attached to the Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru for 6 years. An experienced medical practitioner who specializes in Occupational Health, Mohd Rizal has other impressive accolades. He was attached to the Institute for Medical Research in the areas of environment, health and safety for one year and has never looked back since, entrenching himself in expertise such as occupational health surveillance, drug & alcohol workplace surveillance, promotion of workplace health, fitness for work assessments and pre-employment and periodic medical check-ups where required. He is a certified HRDF trainer and holds post-graduate certifications in Civil Aviation Medicine and is an approved medical practitioner for seafarers by the Marine Department of Malaysia. He is also a certified Review Officer (MRD) for Drug and Alcohol and a Certified Medical Impairment Assessor (CMIA) for NIOSH.
