MBChB, FRACP, FACMS, FNZDS, FAAD specialises in state-of-the art laser and dermatological cosmetic procedures, Mohs micrographic surgery and a full range of dermatology and skin care services. He completed his basic medical training at the University of Otago. He spent a number of years working in both internal medicine and subspecialty medicine, culminating in a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians. His specialist dermatology training was completed in Wellington, Auckland, Scotland, London and Boston, Massachusetts. He was Clinical Lecturer at University College, London and then Mohs Surgical Fellow at the New England Medical Centre, Boston, Massachusetts. He pioneered Mohs micrographic surgery in New Zealand in 1989 and has performed over 16,000 Mohs procedures to date. Dr McKerrow’s fellowships also include the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery and the New Zealand Dermatology Society.
