Just recently had my six-monthly check-up and as always, very happy with Ashby Dental. The whole team are very pleasant and always put you at ease. I have been coming to them for years and would not go anywhere else.

Recently needed a molar filling repair, and because it had previously been repaired, it was suggested that it may be appropriate to have a new type of composite/ceramic filling used. Photos were taken and filling made up and fitted. By next day it felt like it had always been there. Only time will tell on durability!

Excellent service at three monthly Hygienist appointment, as always. The invariably calm, serene and crucially non-judgemental manner of the professional practitioner is an outstanding asset to the practice.

Between regular checkups, I developed intermittent pain in an upper jaw molar. I rang Ashby Dental to ask for an appointment and was offered one in the middle of the following morning. Although there was no obvious damage, careful checking revealed a crack below an old filling. It was cleared out and repaired and refilled all in less than 45 minutes. This is typical of my experience with the dental practice.

We have been with Ashby Dental for 30 years. When we moved house, we briefly used another dentist but soon returned to Jack Cooke at Ashby, despite the 45-minute drive each way. Skilled and kind - the best.

A chunk of my tooth fell out on Sunday, on Monday (23rd December!) I called Ashby Dental and to my enormous relief was able to make an appointment that afternoon with Amanda. Within 25 mins the damage was repaired and I was on my way, quick, painless and comfortable! Amanda explained throughout what she was doing, and the dental nurse, Barbara, was careful and reassuring. I realised as I left that I never feel nervous when I come here because the team and friendly and I’m so confident of receiving the best treatment and being involved in what is going on. The waiting room is also such a comfy place to wait in! Heartfelt gratitude and appreciation!
