Principal Cosmetic Dentist BChD, MSc (Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry). He is a partner of the practice. Clarendon Dental Spa was his brainchild. He opened Clarendons with Dr Jayendra Patel and they are recognised as being the duo behind the continued growth and success of the practice. He is over 10 years qualified, graduating from The Leeds Dental Institute and achieved a Masters (with Merit) in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at Manchester University. Dr Al-Ani is a full British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Member and carries out most of the private, general and challenging cosmetic work at the practice. He is also a Certified Laser Trained Dentist by the British Institute of Laser Dentistry He has a special interest in tooth whitening writing his Masters dissertation on the topic. His other main interest is in quick short term orthodontics and is a highly experienced Six Month SmilesTM provider. He is also on the judging panel for the Dentistry Awards and lectures for the British Association of Implant and Restorative Dentistry. GDC number: 83548.

Principal and Dental Surgeon BChD (Hons), MFDS RCS (Eng), MJDF RCS (Eng), MSc (Oral Surgery). He is currently enjoying his Non-Executive role of the board, as council member, for the General Dental Council (GDC). He has also enjoyed the responsibility of being a Vocational Trainer (for newly qualified dentists) for the Yorkshire & Humber Postgraduate Deanery for the last 4 years. His passion for oral surgery has lead to him completing a masters degree (MSc) in this field. Having graduated from the Leeds Dental Institute in 2004 with honours, Jay went on to complete his membership examinations (MFDS) in 2006 and his Membership in the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) in 2010, both at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is also an examiner for The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family, eating out and the odd shopping trip (or two!) Specialist Orthodontist BDS, MFDS, MPhil, MOrthRCS, FDS (Orth) RCS. He moved to Leeds in 2005 after completing 5 years of specialist orthodontic training when he took up a Consultant post at the Leeds Dental Institute. He divides his time between teaching University of Leeds undergraduate and postgraduate orthodontic students, treating complex cases requiring a combination of orthodontics and surgery at the Leeds Dental Institute and working here at Clarendon Dental Spa which he has done since the day we opened! When he has spare time Trevor enjoys meeting up with friends, eating out and travelling. He is always trying to shift a few pounds with the help of his personal trainer and recently has taken to entering 10K runs achieving a new personal best on the last occasion of 44 minutes and 31 seconds!
