After graduating from Ain Shams University in Egypt in 2000 with an honours degree, restorative dentistry has been my area of interest as I enjoy root canal treatments and cosmetic dentistry including crowns, bridges, veneers and tooth whitening.
By completing one-years training in different dental hospitals in Egypt, I decided to move to Denmark where I gained lots of experience through working in different practices throughout the country. During my stay in Denmark I attended several courses to keep myself updated with any new techniques in cosmetic dentistry.
In 2005 I moved to the UK seeking knowledge and professional experience. Having worked here for more than three years, I enjoy treating patients with different levels of anxiety and from different cultural backgrounds. I have been praised both by my professors and patients for my ability to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere to relieve any nervousness.
In order to always achieve my goal in providing the best treatment based upon the best knowledge and experience; I’m currently undertaking the Diploma of Membership of The Joint Dental Faculties of The Royal College of Surgeons in England (MJDF RCS).
Moreover, I completed a one year course in Implant Dentistry at The Eastman Dental Institute in London and I am now fully qualified to place and restore dental implants.
I joined City Dental as a part time associate in September 2008. For the rest of the week I am attending intensive training at Leeds Dental Institute in order to complete a masters degree in restorative dentistry. This will help me to deliver more reliable evidence based treatments to my patients.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and going to the gym.
